Wearable technology devices are used by athletes on a daily basis and provide extensive opportunities to understand athletes’ workloads and recovery throughout the season. The collection of such large data sets has led to new hypotheses and strategies for injury prevention as well as detailed feedback for athletes to optimize training and recovery.
