About Specialization: Healthcare Business course
This specialization was designed to help you keep pace with the rapidly changing world of health care and health care delivery. Through collaboration with Wharton and Penn Medicine, you’ll learn from experts in business acumen, health care management, and health care policy to develop the skills you need to successfully navigate the rapidly changing landscape of this fast-growing field.* By the end of this specialization, you’ll have a solid foundational understanding of the American health care system, as well as the core financial and management skills to make better, more informed decisions that will improve the cost and quality of care you or your business provides.

Applied learning project
Students will have the opportunity to see the application of key concepts covered in the Specialization to real-world healthcare problems through case studies and financial reports on healthcare initiatives. By the end of the Specialization, students will be able to apply management and financial skills in their own practice, maximizing the costs and efficiency of insurance and healthcare operations.
