Specialization Development of Industrial Internet of Things

In this specialization, you will be introduced to the vast array of technologies that can be used to build an Industrial Internet of Things system. You will be introduced to the market size and opportunity, operating systems, networking concepts, many security topics, how to plan, staff, and execute a project plan, sensors, file systems, and storage principles, machine learning and big data analytics, an introduction to SystemC, techniques for debugging deeply embedded systems, promoting technical ideas internally, and learning from failure. Additionally, students will learn several key business concepts that are important for engineers to understand, such as CapEx for purchasing lab equipment and OpEx for rent, utilities, and employee salaries. Applied learning project In this specialization, you will complete 2 projects. The first will give you hands-on experience in computer security. The second project is a product teardown, which provides key insight into how products are built. In this second project, you will build a bill of materials, sometimes called a BOM.
