About Specialization Applied Data Science with Python course
The 5 courses in this specialization from the University of Michigan introduce students to data science using the python programming language. This skills-based specialization is designed for those who have basic knowledge of the python language or programming and want to apply methods in statistics, machine learning, information visualization, text mining, and social media using popular python toolkits such as pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn, nltk and networkx to gain deep knowledge of your data.
Introduction to Data Science in Python (Course 1), Applied Drawing, Graphing, and Data Presentation in Python (Course 2), and Applied Machine Learning in Python (Course 3) should be taken in order and before starting any other course within the specialization. Once completed, courses 4 and 5 can be taken in any order. To obtain a certificate you must complete all 5 courses.
