About Project Management: Basics and Initiation course
Project Management: Fundamentals and Initiation provides students with a foundational understanding of how engineering projects are managed and initiated. Project managers are responsible for project scope, stakeholder management, effective communication, and team leadership. In this course, you will gain the entry-level skills needed to manage traditional engineering projects, as well as the tools needed to engage stakeholders and build diverse teams. This course can be taken for credit toward CU Boulder’s Master of Engineering in Engineering Management (ME-EM) program, offered on Coursera. The ME-EM program is designed to help engineers, scientists, and technical professionals move into leadership and management positions in the engineering and technical industries. An outcome-based program with no application requirement, the ME-EM program is ideal for individuals with a wide range of educational and/or professional backgrounds.
