Managing Resources in Azure

In this course, you'll learn how to work with the Azure command line and web portal to create, manage, and monitor cloud resources. You'll look at all three approaches to deploying cloud resources and how to make an informed decision about which one to use for your services. You'll also get a quick look at the service models supported by Azure, which will help you determine which services to start with when planning your Azure deployment. You'll learn how to install the Azure CLI locally and use it to manage your Azure resources. You'll also use Azure PowerShell interactively to perform one-time tasks and write scripts to automate repetitive tasks. You'll learn about the key factors that affect the cost of running in the cloud. Along the way, you'll gain hands-on experience with some of the tools you can use to estimate the cost of running your workloads in Azure, which will help you stay within your budget and use only the services you need. Azure Resource Manager has a number of features you can use to organize your resources, ensure standards are met, and protect your critical Azure resources from accidental deletion. In this module, you will learn about these features and see how you can use them to your advantage. You will identify misassigned resources in Azure. You will also evaluate whether resources can be moved and validate a move resource operation. You will then move and validate resources between Azure resource groups.
