About FPGA Softcore Processors and IC Acquisition course
This course will introduce you to all aspects of soft processor design and intellectual property (IP) in FPGA design. You will learn what types and capabilities of soft processors exist, how to create your own soft processor in FPGA, including designing hardware and software for the soft processor. You will learn how to add IP blocks and custom instructions to your soft processor. Once the soft processor is created, you will learn how to verify its design using simulation and an internal logic analyzer. After completing the course, you will know how to create and use Soft Processors and IP, which is a very useful skill.
This course consists of 4 modules, approximately 1 module per week for 4 weeks. Each module includes an hour or two of video lectures, reading assignments, discussion questions, and an end-of-module assessment.
