The robots might not be doing the laundry today but they are certainly making the wait more interesting.
And perhaps there’s relief in the fact that our daily lives are too complex for a trillion-parameter model to fully grasp. AI cannot replicate the tangible aspects of human life: the feeling of warm towels fresh from the dryer, the distinct smell of a clean kitchen, or the simple, victorious moment of finally locating the TV remote.
These personal, sensory experiences remain beyond the reach of the cloud. Your AI bestie might be a genius, but for now, it’s a genius without hands.
So go ahead, fold those socks. It’s the one thing you can still do better than a billion-dollar algorithm.
