About Specialization Sustainable food, smart eating and healthy cooking course
This specialisation is for anyone who wants to improve their health, protect our planet and build a stronger, more positive relationship with food. The aim of the courses is to increase knowledge of the connections between our health, food, food production and the environment, and to inspire us to make decisions that protect our health and the health of the environment. Upon completion of the specialisation, without previous training in food, dietetics, nutrition, mindful eating or cooking, students will be able to: 1. evaluate contemporary food choices in terms of their impact on human health and the sustainability of the planet; 2. achieve step-by-step changes in personal behaviour towards healthier and more sustainable eating; 3. prepare healthy and delicious meals using simple techniques and readily available ingredients; 4. implement practices of mindfulness, moderation, food variety and self-compassion in relation to their eating behaviour and food choices. Together, these skills and abilities will help to develop lifelong positive and healthy relationships with food for each learner and their loved ones.
