About Project planning and execution course
The goal of this second course in the Project Management Specialization is to provide students with the skills necessary to plan and execute traditional engineering projects. Project managers must plan and manage complex projects that are time- and budget-constrained. In this course, you will define project schedules, budgets, and assess risks. Upon completion of the course, you will also be able to identify and explain the various quality assurance tools and techniques used in project management. This course may be taken for academic credit toward CU Boulder’s Master of Engineering in Engineering Management (ME-EM) program, offered on Coursera. The ME-EM program is designed to help engineers, scientists, and technicians move into leadership and management positions in the engineering and technical industries. An outcomes-based program with no application requirement, the ME-EM program is ideal for individuals with a wide range of educational and/or professional experience.
