Implementing PhET activities for STEM education

PhET Interactive Simulations ( https://phet.colorado.edu/ ), a project of the University of Colorado Boulder, provides engaging, free, interactive, research-based science and math simulations for use at the elementary, secondary, and postsecondary levels. We rigorously test and evaluate each simulation to ensure learning effectiveness. All simulations are open source and free for all students and teachers. In this course, you will learn how to effectively design and implement a teacher guide that uses PhET simulations for math and science. To complete this course, you will be required to complete two peer-reviewed assignments: 1) Design a teacher guide that integrates an inquiry-based lesson with simulations, and 2) Teach a lesson in your classroom and analyze the results. This course is the fourth and final of four courses that make up the Active Learning in STEM with PhET Interactive Simulations specialization. This course is also available in Spanish under the title "Implementación de Actividades PhET para la Educación STEM" and in Portuguese under the title "Implementação de Atividades PhET para Educação STEM".
