About (Giving Helpful Feedback) course
The goal of this course is to teach you the simple principles that expert managers use to improve employee performance and motivation. You will never have to avoid telling employees “the truth” again, because the seven techniques we will teach you will not make employees afraid or defensive. As a manager, or someone who wants to be a manager, you will also learn specifically what feedback is, how negative feedback is valued more highly than positive feedback, and how positive feedback can have a profound impact on behaviors such as creativity and teamwork.
Giving feedback is a skill that develops over time. We give you a process you can use to improve your feedback skills and give it with confidence. You’ll find that there’s a scientific basis for many of your observations and intuitions about giving feedback, such as how hard it is to give feedback correctly, how people hate giving feedback, and more.
