Before we can lead others well, we must first learn to lead ourselves well. Knowing yourself is the starting point on this journey. In this course, you will understand the importance of the three forms of awareness, develop a personal identity, understand how you work best, learn to use your time and energy strategically, manage cognitive biases, manage mental models, and better understand your worldview. This course can be taken for academic credit toward CU Boulder’s Master of Engineering in Engineering Management (ME-EM) program, offered on Coursera. The ME-EM program is designed to help engineers, scientists, and technical professionals move into leadership and management positions in the engineering and technical industries.
