This course introduces statistical inference, sampling distributions, and confidence intervals. Students will learn how to identify and construct good coefficient estimates, moment estimators, maximum likelihood estimators, and methods for constructing confidence intervals that extend to more general settings. This course may be taken for academic credit toward CU Boulder’s Master of Science in Data Science (MS-DS) program, offered on Coursera.
Statistical Inference for Evaluation in Data Science is listed in the GenAI.Works courses directory, from University of Colorado.
