About Pressure, force, motion and humidity sensors course
The Pressure, Force, Motion, and Humidity Sensors course may also be taken for academic credit as ECEA 5342, part of CU Boulder's Electrical Engineering Master of Science program. This is our third course in the Sensor and Motor Embedding specialization. To get the most out of this course, you should first take our first course, Sensors and Sensing Circuits. Our first course provides you with instruction on using the hardware and software development kit we have selected for the labs. This third course assumes that you already know how to use the kit. After completing this course, you will be able to: ● Understand how to select the correct AC or DC motor for a machine project. ● Integrate a motor into a machine based on an analysis of the motor equations for voltage, current, torque, and speed. ● Integrate a motor and its accompanying rotary encoder into a motor control circuit in both hardware and software.
