Introduction to Microsoft Azure Cloud Services

Whether you are just starting out with the cloud or are an experienced cloud user and new to Microsoft Azure, this course will provide you with everything you need to get started. It will introduce you to the core concepts and services of Microsoft Azure. You will learn about the fundamentals of cloud computing, its benefits, and how to choose the right Microsoft Azure solution for different business scenarios. You will use the Microsoft Azure portal and sandbox to create and test Microsoft Azure resources at no cost. You do not need to write code or have any scripting skills to do this. You will learn about some of the database and big data services available in Microsoft Azure. You will also learn how to take advantage of several virtualization services in Microsoft Azure compute, which can help your applications scale quickly and efficiently to meet growing demands. Finally, you will learn about the various storage and virtual networking options available in Microsoft Azure. This course can help you prepare for exam AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals. This is the first course in a four-course program that prepares you to take the AZ-900 certification exam. This course teaches you the core concepts and skills that are measured in the Cloud Computing Concepts and Microsoft Azure Core Services exam domains. This beginner course is suitable for IT personnel who are new to Microsoft Azure and want to learn about Microsoft Azure offerings and gain hands-on experience with the product. To successfully complete this course, you should have basic computer literacy and English language skills. You should be familiar with basic computing concepts and terminology, common technology concepts including networking, storage, computing, application support, and application development.
