About Find Your Professional Voice: Confidence and Influence course
Humans have a tremendous capacity for vocal expression, but most have not had the opportunity to explore and develop it. By the end of this course, students will have gained knowledge of how the voice works, have the opportunity to experiment with different ways of speaking, and have increased confidence in their vocal expressiveness.
This course is intended for beginners, but can serve as a useful "tweak" for those who have some experience in the field, or for those who want to build on previous knowledge. The only requirement is an interest in voice in action and public speaking. The Find Your Professional Voice course takes the student on a journey to learn how the voice works, how its use can be optimized, and how vocal impact can be developed in a professional environment. The course content is useful for all students with vocal abilities. Although very few exercises require full physical training, those with physical disabilities or those who are reluctant to perform motor exercises will still be able to gain useful skills provided by the MOOC content.
