Excel/VBA Specialization for Creative Problem Solving

This specialization is designed for students who want to revolutionize the way they use Excel spreadsheets by exploring the power of spreadsheet automation and optimization using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). The first two courses teach students the basics of VBA through dozens of instructional videos, as well as a series of quizzes and application programming challenges. Finally, in the third part of the course, students complete three "real-world" projects and several open-source projects that will be assessed by peer review. Applied learning project Students will complete one easy project (chosen from two possible projects), one intermediate project (chosen from two possible projects), and a third, required Monte Carlo simulation project (intermediate in difficulty). Projects include: Real-Time Currency Converter, Geography Toolbox, Ultimate Organizer, Regression Toolbox, Monte Carlo Simulation, and Grade Manager.
